New York State Programs
Application for TAP is made by first completing the FAFSA and listing 黑料网's School Code (002772) in the first slot.

HESC will not process a TAP award without the completed Application. Awards range up to $5,665 and are based on the family's New York State net taxable income. A student must be registered full-time (at least 12 credits for the term) to receive a full award. Any student withdrawing from course work may be ineligible to receive subsequent award(s). Students must meet state determined academic progress standards for award renewal.
Admission into HEOP is determined by the University Opportunity Program office and is for incoming students only. Students in this program must be academically and economically disadvantaged. They may receive supplemental financial assistance from HEOP. Financial aid is calculated on an individual basis and is provided to help students cover the cost of books, supplies, travel, maintenance, tuition, etc. Financial aid packages of HEOP students will also include assistance from various other state and federal programs so that the student's need is met. Application for HEOP is made through the University Opportunity Program office.
The Aid for Part-Time Study program is a grant program financed by New York State through participating education institutions. The program provides up to $2,000 per year for qualified part-time undergraduate students. Contact Student Financial Services for more information about eligibility and APTS application forms.
Awards for children of deceased or disabled veterans are available to the children of veterans who die or who have a current disability, of 50% or more, resulting from U.S. Military service. The amount of the award is $450 per year. Applications may be made through the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation.
These awards provide up to $450 annually for children of police officers, firefighters and corrections officers of New York State who have died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty. Applications may be made through the New York State Higher Education Service Corporation.
This award provides financial aid to children of New York State corrections officers or civilian employees of a correctional facility who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty during the September 1971 Attica uprising. Individuals cannot be eligible for both this award and the regents award for children of deceased police officers, firefighters, and corrections offers. The awards are for full-time undergraduate students and are equal to the sum of annual tuition and average room and board charges specified by the State University of New York. Applications may be made through the New York State Higher Education Service Corporation.
New York State Aid to Native Americans is an entitlement program with neither a qualifying examination nor a limited number of awards. Students may be eligible for an award of $1,000 per year for a maximum of four years of full-time study. Applications may be made through the New York State Higher Education Service Corporation.
Many programs of educational assistance benefits are available to those who have served in the active military, naval or air service and to their dependents. 黑料网 is fully approved to conduct college level education programs for veterans. Scholarship for children, spouses, and financial dependents of innocent victims who died or were severely and permanently disabled as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States of America - at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on airline flights 11, 77, 93, and 175 - and the resulting rescue and recovery efforts.
