黑料网 offers need-based tuition grants to supplement federal and state aid. Applications are made by completing the FAFSA, and are based on the Student Aid Index (SAI) determined by the FAFSA. Students who receive non-need based grants from additional sources may not be eligible for 黑料网 Assistance Grants.

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding entering freshmen students who have demonstrated academic merit. Scholarship awards are renewable for a maximum of 8 full-time terms as long as the recipient meets the conditions of the award

Business and Accounting

An annual award to a Mercy undergraduate alumni majoring in Business who intends to pursue an MBA. The Fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis, involving the submission of a project essay, a transcript and an application. The successful student will be provided with funds to supplement tuition assistance during the year the student is enrolled in the MBA program. To be eligible students must be new, not re-admits or continuing students.

Two partial scholarships are awarded to one full-time and one part-time student who are members of a union or have an immediate family member who is a member of a union. Eligible students must pursue a degree in industrial relations or business and have a record of academic achievement.

Education

For five-year B.S./M.S. undergraduates. A $2,500 scholarship each school year to one student committed to pursue a career as a special education teacher. The School of Education will make a call for applications each year. Please contact Mary Ellen Hoffman at 914-674-7334 for more information.

To support students with financial need and the determination to complete their degree at Mercy;  majoring in Spanish, who are either first or second generation college students.

Health Professions

Scholarships, fellowships and other forms of financial assistance are available for study in speech-language pathology. Interested students should contact ASHA at (800) 638-8255 or (301) 897-5700.

To provide scholarship assistance for first-generation undergraduate students in the School of Health and Sciences. Eligible students must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Scholarships, fellowships and other forms of financial assistance are available for study in Physical Therapy. Interested students should contact (800) 999-APTA.

To support students with financial need and the determination to complete their degree at Mercy.

General Scholarships

To support any student, who is first generation, pursuing a four year undergraduate degree at Mercy.

To provide support to an incoming freshman stuent pursuing their bachelor鈥檚 degree, is the first in their family to attend a 4-year college and possesses a minimum 3.0 high school GPA.

To support students with financial need and the determination to complete their degree at Mercy, residing in New York City.

To provide scholarship assistance for incoming freshmen students of Commonwealth Caribbean descent.

A scholarship for a student who encounters extraordinary expenses not covered by their original scholarship/financial aid awards. The selected student would be provided a monthly stipend, during the academic year, for assistance in meeting living expenses.

Award for a female student, preferably a freshman. Preference will be given to students from a Catholic HS and/or students who display civic engagement and community service. Awardee must maintain a minimum HS GPA of 90 (or equivalent on a 4-point GPA scale). Past awardees with a minimum GPA of 3.0 may apply for continued funding for up to 4 years. The candidate must have financial need and the determination to obtain a degree from 黑料网. The scholarship is made possible by the contributions of our founding alumni (classes 65,66, 67, and 68).

Scholarship for a student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who is in need of financial aid.

The award will be bestowed annually, pursuant to standard Mercy scholarship policies. 

To support an undergraduate student who is a first-generation student and has shown outstanding work in their high school years and holds at least a 3.0 GPA.

To provide tuition assistance for students from Westchester County, New York.

Scholarship for a 黑料网 student who is a Bronx resident, graduated from a Bronx High School or attends the 黑料网 Bronx Campus. Eligible students must have a minimum High School GPA of 90 (or equivalent on a 4-point GPA scale). Preference will be given to students who demonstrate civic engagement and community service in the Bronx. In addition, students must display financial need and a determination to obtain a degree from 黑料网.

A monetary award, based on financial need, to any student pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree at 黑料网. The University acknowledges that the donor requests that the aid be used to meet financial need and has expressed a particular interest in the needs of transfer and part-time students.

The Buther Scholarship is designed to benefit exceptional students, from either Westchester or Bronx County of New York State, who are pursuing a degree from 黑料网.

A scholarship to be awarded annually to the student who most exemplifies Mary Pat Wagner's most endearing qualities: commitment to serving others and joy in living life.

A scholarship for a graduate of a catholic High School in Westchester or the Bronx. Preference will be given to female students, especially those graduating from St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx, NY. The scholarship was created in memory of Matt O'Connor, alumni of St. Barnabas.

Established in 2020 by Dr. Estrella Lopez-Sweetser and Elliott Sweetser to provide scholarship assistance for undergraduate students in the School of Business. Preference will be given to students who self-identify as Hispanic.

Partial scholarships are available to incoming Honors students who demonstrate extraordinary academic ability and who have an interest in business or health science. The scholarship includes a mentorship opportunity and is designed to reduce the student's dependence on outside work to complete his/her college study.
